Role
The Landscape Assistant Manager will be responsible for all the horticulture activities to operate as efficiently as possible.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for implementing routine maintenance plans including fertilization & pesticides application
- Provide guidance, direction, and assistance to technicians and labours working in related Irrigation & horticulture disciplines.
- Assess the performance of all plantations with identifying performing & non-preforming species.
- Maintain technical communication between on-site labours and the SP’s management.
- Pro-actively provide guidance to design & construction teams with including lessons learnt.
- Participate in technical evaluation for the selected service providers through tendering process.
- Supervise, screen and approve the offers received from the contractors and ensure the completion of related tasks perfectly with the optimum cost.
- Manage active contracts with providing the required planning, financial allocations & technical expertise.
- Supervise and screen monthly reports and make assessment for each active landscape contractor to stand on the quality of services provided and the number of pending tasks according to the set KPIs/SLA
- Participate in generating/applying new measures to achieve proper water utilization to reduce the overall operational expenses.
- Review engineering design proposals, design drawings, specifications and other technical document submissions and recommend improvements.
- Ensure all premises comply with current legislation and health & safety standards
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Follow guidelines with regards to the identification and reporting of health and safety hazards.
- Commit to various operational hours and schedules
- Perform any additional task as requested.

Necessary Experience
7-12 years of experience, preferably in a similar Industry of which 2-3 years in similar environment
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture Engineering or any relevant field.
