Role

The Development Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in driving successful real estate development projects at CED. He/she oversees various aspects of the development process, from initial planning to project completion, and ensures alignment with the company's strategic objectives and government regulations; to ensure the successful launch and delivery of projects related to CED & NUCA.

Key Accountabilities

  • Prepare projects’ development brief including project vision, product mix, architecture Style and area assumptions.
  • Study New land opportunities as per the management’s vision to increase the company’s land bank and portfolio.
  • Analyze existing market research data to identify trends in different asset classes and pricing. This information will be used by the business analysis team to assess the feasibility of potential development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the business analysis team to conduct feasibility studies for new development projects, by providing the assumptions sheet for the basic data of the projects.
  • Collaborate with government agencies to understand regulatory requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Prepare sales rollout plan as per the inventory in hand and the upcoming projects pipeline to match the company’s annual sales target.
  • Responsible for sales phasing and release plans of all projects and asset classes.
  • Assist the design team in the review of all design deliverables from the concept phase to the project launch, ensuring adherence to quality standards, project timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Assist in managing technical consultants, to deliver innovative and sustainable designs that comply with the projects’ vision.
  • Assist in the coordination with all other departments and external parties, if any, concerning new and ongoing developments to meet the projects’ milestones.

Strategy & Business Planning

  • Assist in monitoring project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure that projects comply with all applicable legal requirements, codes, and regulations.
  • Support in explanation of project scope and the associated costs as required.
  • Support ensures assigned projects are completed within budgets and schedules while meeting client needs, business objectives, and guidelines within procedures and quality standards.
  • Monitor work progress, provide financial control, and ensure quality of deliverables.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Prepare comprehensive sales briefs for the sales team, providing detailed information about project features, target market, and pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure they have the data they need and review marketing materials for our lunches.
  • Mentor and develop the reporting team members.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and manage team performance.
  • Perform any additional tasks as requested according to the company’s policies and procedures.

Necessary Experience

  • 7-12 years of related experience.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture/Construction Management.
  • MBA or Master’s Degree in related fields is desirable.
